The incident occurred at the junction of Rostherne Road and Garners Lane, with the vehicle last seen heading towards Davenport Train Station around 6:30 a.m.
The car involved is described as a dark-colored hatchback, with the driver identified as a white man wearing a black coat or jumper.
The woman is described as white, wearing dark leggings and UGG boots; police fear she may need urgent safeguarding or medical care.
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information and have conducted house-to-house, CCTV, and dashcam inquiries, but so far have been unable to locate the woman or the vehicle.
