Police Seek Parents of Three Abandoned Siblings in East London

A £20,000 reward has been announced for information on the parents of three children left in similar circumstances over eight years in freezing temperatures.

  • The abandoned baby girl, named Elsa by hospital staff, was discovered in East Ham, London, on January 18, 2024, wrapped in a towel inside a reusable shopping bag.
  • Investigations revealed that Elsa has two older siblings, Roman and Harry, also abandoned in nearby locations in 2017 and 2019 under similar conditions.
  • Police believe the mother, and possibly the father, have lived in the Plaistow or East Ham area for at least six years and may have had concealed pregnancies.
  • Despite reviewing over 450 hours of CCTV and creating a full DNA profile of the mother, authorities have yet to identify the parents.
  • Crimestoppers has offered a £20,000 reward for information leading to the identification of the parents, with the reward available until April 18, 2025.
