Dorset Police have boosted seafront patrols alongside publication of CCTV images to pinpoint suspects in the June 30 melee that injured five officers as well as a teenage girl.

  • A 22-year-old man from Newbury was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and released on police bail.
  • An 18-year-old man from Hackney remains in custody facing charges of assault, affray and assaulting an emergency worker.
  • Four females aged 16 to 35 from Bournemouth and Poole were arrested on suspicion of affray and have since been released on police bail.
  • Dorset Police have released CCTV images of 12 people they wish to identify, increased seafront patrols and urged witnesses to submit footage via Dorset Police or Crimestoppers.
