Police Seek Gunman After 17-Year-Old Shot at Loop Red Light

Police released a suspect description following the fourth shooting in the Loop this year.

  • The suspect remains at large; police broadcast a description: Black or dark-skinned Hispanic male, about 5-foot-4 with short hair, in a gray sweater and maroon T-shirt.
  • CWB Chicago reports this is the fourth person shot in the Loop in 2025, compared with 8 by this point in 2024.
