Police Seek 19-Year-Old Suspect in Fatal Shooting Near VSU

An earlier arrest in the case involves an accessory-after-the-fact charge.

  • Chesterfield County Police say Latrell “Trell” Creighton of Dinwiddie is wanted for second-degree murder in the killing of 20-year-old Omarion Bryant.

  • Officers found Bryant shot multiple times near the 20900 block of Third Avenue by the VSU Multipurpose Center around 11 p.m. on Oct. 4.
  • Jalen Johnson of Prince George County was arrested on an accessory-after-the-fact charge, and police say neither he nor Bryant is a VSU student.
