- Authorities identified the suspected shooter as 37-year-old Keith Cordes, the son of Dr. Eric Cordes and stepson of Vicki, after the San Bernardino County Medical Examiner confirmed his death by self-inflicted gunshot.
- Eric Cordes, 63, a longtime radiologist, and his wife, Vicki, 66, were found with multiple gunshot wounds in the open garage of their Simi Valley home just after noon on Nov. 30.
- Investigators used FLOCK and other license-plate reader systems to link a fleeing black Honda Civic to Keith Cordes and to follow its route to Ayala Park in Chino.
