Overview
- The collision happened shortly after 2pm on Friday in the Parc Tawe North Retail Park in Swansea city centre.
- South Wales Police said the moving car struck a parked vehicle, which resulted in a pedestrian being pinned against a wall.
- Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, the Welsh Ambulance Service and police attended, and firefighters used e‑hydraulic equipment to free two trapped people.
- Wales Air Ambulance’s Dafen crew arrived at 2:27pm and concluded its involvement at 2:50pm, while fire crews left the scene at about 2:45pm.
- Images showed the area near the Deichmann and Home Bargains stores cordoned off, with one car appearing to have hit the Deichmann frontage.
