Overview
- Federal police were called around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday after a bottle of vodka was stolen at Magdeburg Hauptbahnhof.
- A store employee detained the suspect until officers arrived, according to the Bundespolizei.
- At the scene the man threw the bottle to the ground and made an obscene gesture at officers.
- Police processing showed he was under a station ban; he was briefly released after a report was filed.
- Shortly afterward he exposed himself on the station forecourt, and authorities opened cases for petty theft, insult, trespass and exhibitionist acts.
