A series of violent events, including stabbings, shootings, and assaults, have led to arrests, injuries, and fatalities in various German cities.
- In Nürnberg, a man armed with a suspected weapon threatened a neighbor and later a worker before barricading himself in his apartment; he was arrested without injuries, and two blank-firing guns were found in his possession.
- In Dortmund, a 22-year-old Syrian man admitted to stabbing a ticket seller after a dispute over a travel pass; the victim, initially in critical condition, is now stable.
- In Schönebeck near Magdeburg, police fatally shot a 26-year-old Afghan man who had threatened another man and later the officers with a knife; investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.
