• On June 24 a cap-wearing man entered Emma Horne’s salon in Warrington, used a newspaper to obscure her £1,300 Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and walked off with the device in plain sight.
• Salon CCTV captured the entire theft and footage has since been widely circulated to aid identification.
• Cheshire Police were called at 11:38 am on the day of the incident and confirm that enquiries remain ongoing.
• Horne froze all her bank cards after realizing her phone and financial details were at risk, temporarily limiting her access to her savings.
• Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the suspect remains at large.
