- LVMPD said officers responded just before midnight on Feb. 2 to JetBlue’s Terminal 3 ticket counter at Harry Reid International Airport after a dog was found tied to a baggage sizer.
- Airline staff told police the traveler had not completed required online documentation to fly with the animal as a service dog and was denied a boarding pass.
- Officers located the owner, identified in booking logs as 26-year-old Germiran Bryson, at a departure gate and arrested her after she resisted being escorted back.
- Police released video on Feb. 18 showing officers confronting the traveler at the gate and returning to the ticket area where the dog was left.
- Animal services held the 2-year-old goldendoodle/mini poodle mix for 10 days before Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas took custody; the dog, renamed Jet Blue, is in foster care awaiting adoption.
