Overview
- A car intentionally struck a cyclist on New Park Road in Shrewsbury on July 16 at around 8:15 pm before its occupants exited and assaulted him.
- Investigators arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of affray on July 17 and he remains in custody.
- Police released a CCTV image on July 18 showing the victim riding an orange and black bicycle and wearing all-black clothing.
- Detective Inspector Rich Davies said the rider is believed to be a white man in his late 20s with a possible Albanian accent and about 5’9” tall.
- Authorities urge anyone with information to contact West Mercia Police or Crimestoppers to help locate the injured man and advance the investigation.
