Overview
- South Yorkshire Police released bodycam video showing Glynn Leedell lunging at officers inside a Kimberworth Park home in Rotherham.
- One officer suffered a slash wound to the back of his neck that required hospital treatment, while a second sustained hand injuries.
- Before the assault, Leedell asked, "Come and talk to me then. Is it a breach of bail?" and then attempted to stab the officers.
- Officers restrained and disarmed Leedell at the scene, and he later pleaded guilty to wounding with intent at Sheffield Crown Court.
- He was jailed for four years and six months on August 29, and Rotherham’s district commander condemned the violence and emphasized the harm to the threatened woman and the community.
