• Sussex Police posted arrest footage on Facebook showing 23-year-old Endri Lamaj admitting to using cocaine and offering some to officers.
• Officers identified Lamaj from nearby footage after reports of street dealing near Sillwood Road in early August.
• He was followed to John Street and detained under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, with 11 zip bags of cocaine and a large quantity of cash recovered.
• Lamaj, of no fixed address, was charged in the early hours of August 6 and remanded after an appearance at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
• He pleaded guilty on September 3 at Lewes Crown Court and was sentenced the same day to two years in prison, with police stating that patrols in the area continue.
