• The Fairmont City Police Department released bodycam footage and a mugshot on July 8 showing Retton’s May 17 DUI stop in Fairmont, West Virginia.
• In the video, the 57-year-old refused a breathalyzer, underwent field sobriety tests and had a screw-top wine container visible in her Porsche.
• Retton pleaded no contest on June 10 to a first-time non-aggravated DUI charge and was fined $100 under state law.
• During the stop she offered her passport after saying she lacked her Texas-issued license and at times appeared emotional and combative on camera.
• In a statement, Retton said she takes full responsibility for her “completely unacceptable” actions and intends to learn and grow from the incident.
