Investigators say cross-border teams traced part of the loot to a Solapur village after the suspects ditched their getaway car during an escape.

  • Earlier the abandoned getaway car was located in Hulajanti within 90 minutes of the robbery, yielding 21 packets of gold ornaments and roughly ₹1.03–1.3 lakh in cash.
  • The September 16 robbery at the SBI branch in Chadchan involved three armed men who tied up staff and customers before fleeing with about 20 kg of pledged gold and approximately ₹1.4 crore in cash.
