  • The detainee was identified as Carlos Reyes, 33, a Peruvian national with prior records for theft and robbery, with measures ordered by Criminal and Correctional Court No. 48.
  • Investigators are working to locate and charge the two other individuals who appeared in the security video and to clarify each person’s role in the theft.
  • Olguín, a professional violinist with the Teatro Argentino de La Plata and a UNA instructor, had publicized the case after reporting that a 911 call did not bring an immediate police response.
