Overview

• Officers searched 18 homes, clubhouses, and commercial or storage sites in Saxony, Thuringia, and Bavaria, with the operation centered on southern Thuringia.
• About 250 personnel, including LKA special units, took part and entered a clubhouse in Schleusingen as well as sites in Themar, Hildburghausen, Schleiz, and Leipzig.
• Ten German suspects aged 20 to 50 are under investigation on suspicion of aggravated robbery-extortion, and no arrests were made.
• Police secured ten motorcycles, two cars, several tens of thousands of euros in cash, small quantities of drugs, a throwing star, a push dagger, and digital storage media.
• Parallel inquiries are examining drug offenses and whether the motorcycles are stolen property, with dpa reporting no indications of a political motive.
