Police Probe Three Weekend Break-Ins in Bochum, Langen and Steinau

Investigators are seeking witness tips following separate weekend break-ins in three towns.

  • Bochum-Wattenscheid: At 10:20 a.m. Saturday, a 17-year-old resident confronted an intruder who had forced the house and apartment doors, leading to a brief scuffle before the suspect fled; he is described as 1.70–1.75 meters tall, about 24–26, with black hair and a black hooded down jacket, with tips to 0234 909-4135 or -4441.
  • Criminal police units in Bochum, Offenbach and Gelnhausen have opened investigations into the three incidents, and no arrests have been reported.
