- On July 9 a green Dodge Charger R/T struck another vehicle and damaged a cable line and barrier in the Kronenstraße parking garage in Kempten, causing about €3,500 in damage.
- When officers later located the Charger at a traffic light, its driver fled through Kempten city center onto the A7 Autobahn and evaded police.
- Authorities recovered the vehicle the next morning at the registered address in Wertach, which belongs to Schlager singer Nino de Angelo.
- Police have confirmed the suspect is a 61-year-old public figure from the music industry but have not officially named the driver.
- Nino de Angelo’s lawyer has refused to comment on any investigation and emphasized the presumption of innocence as inquiries continue.
