- At least seven armed intruders broke into the Nayak family’s sixth-floor apartment in Chamundi Arcade around 2:30 am, assaulted the occupants, tied them, and fled with cash, gold and silver valued at about Rs 45 lakh.
- CCTV showed the group leaving the colony at about 3:05 am, and police reached the building roughly 20 minutes later after a neighbour raised the alarm.
