Overview
- Police said a trailer believed to have detached from a Mitsubishi Outlander struck a pram on Pleasance Avenue at about 3:15pm on 13 October.
- Three children aged eight, 14 and 18 months were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary before transfer to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
- A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed all three children are being treated for serious injuries.
- The 18-year-old nursery worker pushing the pram was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
- Officers closed the road to examine the scene and ask anyone with information or dashcam footage to call 101 quoting reference 1870 of 13 October.
