Overview

• Police identified the case as domestic-related and said the 32-year-old female victim is the suspect’s wife.
• Officers arrived Tuesday in the 8200 block of Arrowhead Road and found a 32-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds and a 48-year-old man with upper body injuries.
• The suspect retreated into the home and barricaded himself for nearly seven hours, with the operation ending around 5:15 p.m.
• Tactical units entered the residence, retrieved the barricaded individual from a room, and found a self-inflicted laceration.
• Both victims were hospitalized in stable condition, and the suspect was transported in critical condition as neighbors reported bullhorn negotiations and what sounded like flashbangs.
