Police officer killed, another wounded in Philadelphia airport shooting while responding to car break-in
- Two off-duty Philadelphia police officers responded to a car break-in at the airport parking garage and were shot by the suspects.
- One 50-year-old officer with over 20 years experience was killed after being shot multiple times in the torso.
- The other 60-year-old officer was injured but survived and has been released from the hospital.
- An 18-year-old suspect was dropped off at a hospital with gunshot wounds and later died.
- Police are still searching for additional suspects who fled in a stolen black Dodge Durango that was later found torched.
