Overview

• Anne Arundel County Police identified Crystal Humphries, 35, of Halethorpe, and David Jiles, 39, of Baltimore, as suspects and said both remain at large.
• Arrest warrants charge Humphries with carjacking and kidnapping, and charge Jiles with attempted murder, carjacking and kidnapping.
• Police say the woman was approached in Glen Burnie while dropping off a friend, forced into the trunk of her black Mercedes, driven to Pennington Avenue and thrown from the Curtis Creek Drawbridge.
• The victim swam to safety, was aided by bystanders at Crew Boats To Go and was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
• Detectives report exhausting leads after a two-year investigation and are asking for tips to investigators or Metro Crime Stoppers, which offers a reward of up to $2,000.
