Police Name Suspect, Release CCTV in Wolverhampton Fatal Shooting Manhunt

Detectives released footage from 12 hours before the attack, urging anyone who sees Mohammed Maneer Khan to call 999.

  • Duaine Mills, 28, was pronounced dead after being shot on Leicester Street in Whitmore Reans just after 3:10am on Friday, 19 September.
  • A second man in his 30s was taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition.
  • West Midlands Police are searching for Mohammed Maneer Khan, 38, known as Manny, who has links to the Wolverhampton area.
  • Investigators issued a photograph and CCTV of Khan from Thursday afternoon, around 12 hours before the shooting, to help trace him.
  • Police warn the public not to approach him and to report sightings via 999, with other information to 101 quoting log 358 of 19 September or to Crimestoppers.
