Police Name Pregnant Victim in Deadly Co Antrim Crash, Appeal for Dash-Cam Footage

Detectives opened a collision investigation with a public appeal for dash-cam footage.

Overview

  • Cathrene Kith Quiñones Singco, in her 30s, died in hospital after a two-car collision near Nutts Corner on 11 January, and police said her unborn baby also died.
  • A man in his 30s who was a passenger in the same car remains critically injured, while several others sustained minor injuries.
  • The crash occurred around 2pm on the Moira Road, Crumlin, and involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a silver Skoda Superb.
  • NIAS dispatched six ambulances, three ambulance officers, two HART teams and the Charity Air Ambulance, taking four patients to Antrim Area Hospital and four to Royal Victoria Hospital, including one by air.
  • The PSNI Collision Investigation Unit is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage and asks callers to contact 101 quoting reference 735 11/01/26.
