Overview

• Guy Nelson, 57, from Leamington Spa, was last known to be in the Drake’s Island area of Plymouth on Monday, September 8, and has not been heard from since.
• CCTV previously recorded him in St Dominick, Cornwall, on Friday, September 5.
• He had been sailing around Cornwall and Devon in his boat, Swallow, and was believed to be planning to continue along the coast from Plymouth.
• Police describe him as white, about 5ft 10in and of medium build, with short curly brown hair and brown eyes; he often wears glasses, a black T-shirt and jeans, and recent images show a dark beard and moustache.
• He has no known links to Devon or Cornwall beyond the sailing trip, and police are appealing for sightings via 999, quoting log 852.
