Police Investigate Targeted Double Murder of Sydney Couple

Zhuojun 'Sally' Li, 33, was discovered dead on December 9, wrapped in plastic in bushland near Sydney Airport, with her husband Jai-Bao 'Rex' Chen missing at the time.
A second body, believed to be Chen, was found on December 17 in the same area, partially buried and heavily decomposed; formal identification is pending.
Police allege the couple was killed in their Greenacre home in late November before their bodies were transported and dumped in Botany using a silver Toyota Avensis, which has been seized for forensic examination.
Investigators are pursuing financial debts as a potential motive, noting Chen's history of drug offenses and reports of money owed, while confirming no known domestic violence concerns in the couple's relationship.
Authorities believe at least two suspects fled to Asia and are collaborating with Chinese and Taiwanese officials to track them, as Chen's phone was found in Queensland and linked to the suspects' movements.
