Police Investigate Perth Highway Crash as Possible Murder-Suicide

Four people, including a taxi driver and his passengers, died in a head-on collision after a driver entered the wrong lane at high speed.

WA Police are investigating whether the fatal crash on Leach Highway was a deliberate act, possibly a murder-suicide.
The crash occurred early Monday morning when a Toyota RAV4 drove the wrong way on the highway and collided with a taxi, killing all four individuals involved.
The victims included taxi driver Sendeku Tesema, 58, and his passengers, an 81-year-old woman and her 56-year-old daughter, who were returning from a holiday.
The RAV4 driver, a 43-year-old man, reportedly made a 'conscious decision' to enter the highway via an off-ramp and was driving at excessive speeds.
Police are analyzing dashcam footage recovered from the RAV4 to determine the driver's intent, while loved ones mourn the victims and first responders are grappling with the tragedy.
