Overview
- At 1.50am on Friday in Harriseahead, four men targeted a property, arriving in a black Audi A5 and stealing a black Lexus with keys before leaving in convoy toward Biddulph.
- The stolen Lexus was later found abandoned on Newpool Terrace in the Brown Lees area, according to Staffordshire Police.
- Detectives say a red Audi S4 and a black Audi A5 were taken with keys at around 6am on Thursday from outside a property off Well Street in Biddulph, with three individuals captured on CCTV.
- Police believe one of the Audis stolen in Biddulph was then used in the later Harriseahead raid.
- Around 20 burglaries or attempted burglaries have been reported in the Moorlands over the past month, no arrests have been confirmed, and residents are advised to lock properties, use steering wheel locks, and store keys in Faraday pouches.
