Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing of Brisbane Man Following Family Argument

A 39-year-old man succumbed to stab wounds after an altercation with two extended family members; charges are expected later today.

The victim, a 39-year-old man from West End, was fatally stabbed at The Chelsea apartment block in Bowen Hills, Brisbane, early Sunday morning.
Police believe the stabbing followed an argument between the victim and two individuals, a 22-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, who are assisting with the investigation.
The victim attempted to flee the scene but died shortly after being transported to the Royal Brisbane Women's and Children's Hospital.
The suspected weapon, a knife believed to have been used in the attack, has been recovered by police.
Investigators have established a crime scene and expect to lay charges later today as they continue to examine the dynamics of the incident.
