Overview
- Officers responded around 6:24–6:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 100 block of Huss Street after reports of gunfire and screaming.
- Police identified the shooter as 42-year-old Ryan Eagon, who died from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
- Three victims were killed: 29-year-old Dustin Willey, a 7-year-old boy, and a 7-month-old infant.
- Investigators say the mother was uninjured but visibly traumatized and had arranged for Willey to help her move while Eagon was believed to be working out of town.
- Eagon and the infant were pronounced dead at the scene, while Willey and the 7-year-old died at a hospital; the case remains under active investigation with state and county forensic assistance.
