Overview

• Authorities on Saturday named the deceased as 42-year-old Chantel Sharieff, her 6-year-old daughter, Kimana Sharieff, and 43-year-old Mustafa Sharieff.
• Officers responding around 3:30 p.m. Thursday to a check-on-subject call at a home in the 7400 block of Wilton Farm Drive in Catonsville found all three dead inside.
• Investigators say Chantel and Kimana were discovered with apparent trauma and a gunshot wound, and Mustafa had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
• Police believe Mustafa was responsible for the deaths of his wife and daughter, and detectives are not seeking additional suspects.
• The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official causes and manners of death, and police report 21 homicides in Baltimore County so far this year.
