Overview
- Officers were called shortly before 9:30pm on Saturday, December 6, to reports of a man in distress on a footbridge near Junction 36 of the M4.
- Police then found the body of a 24-year-old man on a nearby slip road, where paramedics attempted resuscitation without success.
- The deceased was identified as being from Litchard, Bridgend, and his family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
- South Wales Police, the South Wales Ambulance Service and CSI attended, and the motorway was briefly closed in both directions to manage the scene.
