Overview

• Three people were killed and eight to eleven others injured after gunfire erupted around 3:30 a.m. Sunday inside the Taste of the City Lounge in Crown Heights.
• Investigators recovered between 36 and 42 shell casings at the scene and discovered an unconfirmed firearm near Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway.
• No one has been arrested as the NYPD canvasses surveillance footage and interviews witnesses to identify up to four suspects believed to be at large.
• The victims include men aged 19, 27 and 35, and all wounded patrons were treated at local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.
• The lounge, which was the site of a nonfatal shooting in November, is being investigated as a possible gang-related attack in a city recording its lowest shooting totals so far this year.
