Overview
- Doorbell footage from Oct. 14 around 10 p.m. in Alexandria shows three masked figures demanding entry and vowing to kill the occupants.
- The group—described as a Michael Myers figure, a clown and a nun—pounded on doors and windows, jiggled handles and made threatening gestures.
- They moved to the back, broke a wooden fence and ripped a screen before leaving after roughly 10 minutes; no injuries were reported.
- The family—Shayla Whiteside, her recently widowed mother and a younger brother—called 911 and later left the home in fear.
- Police say the trio could face charges including burglary and criminal threats, and believe they removed masks and fled in a vehicle; tips are sought and no arrests have been announced.
