Overview
- Officers were called to Dorcan Way in the early hours after a pedestrian was struck near the Morrisons roundabout and Edison Business Park.
- The car did not remain at the scene, and the woman was taken to hospital where police say she is in a life-threatening condition.
- Dorcan Way is closed in both directions between the Morrisons roundabout and the Nythe Road junction as the Serious Collision Investigation Team and forensics examine the scene.
- Detectives say the driver may be unaware of the collision and ask them to make urgent contact with the investigation team.
