Overview
- Emergency services were called at about 4.15pm on Friday, 5 December, to Longmoor Lane near Third Avenue in Fazakerley.
- The 81-year-old local woman suffered serious injuries and died a short time later at Aintree Hospital.
- The driver and vehicle remain untraced as police review CCTV, cordon the scene for forensics, and make house-to-house inquiries.
- Investigators are seeking a dark-coloured car that may show collision damage and could have been parked up or abandoned nearby.
