Overview
- A 39-year-old man was seriously injured around 11pm on September 26 inside Bells Bar on Springburn Way and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he remains in hospital.
- Police describe the suspect as white, aged 30–40, wearing glasses, light blue jeans, a light-coloured top and a grey knitted hat, and say he had a white hard hat that was left behind.
- CCTV shows the attacker entering during karaoke, approaching a booth and producing a foot-long blade before striking multiple times, then fleeing toward the Hillkirk Street area.
- Officers ask anyone with dashcam or mobile footage from around the bar to contact 101 quoting incident number 4197 or provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
- Enquiries are ongoing and no arrest has been announced, with a police source suggesting the assault was targeted.
