• Officers said Monday the operation continues with resources focused where leads point after a weekend of extensive ground and aerial searches.
• Investigators are checking numerous tips, reviewing bus and other video recordings, and canvassing Güstrow; there are currently no indications of a criminal act.
• Tracking dogs followed Fabian’s scent to Güstrow’s bus station and later to a bus stop near Zehna, where the trail dissipated in a nearby forest by Groß Breesen.
• More than 100 personnel, rescue and mantrailer dog teams, a helicopter and drones have been deployed, with searches paused overnight for safety and resumed each morning.
• Police released a photo and details of distinctive blue-and-white shoes, set up a tip line, and urged people not to mount private searches as nights turn colder.
