Police Confirm Death of Missing Queensland Mother Tayla Spies

Human remains found near her vehicle in a remote area have been identified as the 29-year-old mother of three, as investigations into her disappearance continue.

• Tayla Spies, 29, was last seen on February 2, 2025, in Condamine after leaving Dalby earlier that day.
• Her locked vehicle, containing personal belongings including the pink shirt she was last seen wearing, was found on April 3, 2025, on a heavily wooded property in Noorindoo.
• Human remains discovered approximately one kilometer from the vehicle have been confirmed by police to belong to Spies.
• Spies' family expressed gratitude for the community's support during the two-month search and shared heartfelt tributes following the confirmation of her death.
• Police are conducting forensic examinations of the vehicle and remains to determine the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and death.
