• At a vigil near the crash site, more than 100 mourners from Milwaukee’s Karen community honored the family and urged limits on police pursuits.
• Relatives identified the victims as Pler Moo, 50, and her sons Moo Nay Taw, 21, and Kar Lah Kri Moo, 15, who were heading home from a soccer game.
• Police say the suspect was driving a stolen Jeep wanted for reckless driving and ran the red light at 35th and Vliet less than a minute after the pursuit began.
• Five others were injured in the collision, including two additional occupants from the Moo family’s car and three people from the suspect’s vehicle.
• The 19-year-old driver was arrested at the scene, and police say a charging referral to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office is forthcoming.
