Overview

• Rachael Hughes, 32, was found fatally shot in a wooded area near the Shawnee Park boat ramp on Sept. 14 and was pronounced dead at the scene.
• Michael Bullock, 27, faces counts of murder, first-degree robbery, complicity abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
• Court records allege Hughes was shot eight times, the shooter left, returned twice within an hour, and moved her body with another person.
• Investigators say Bullock and Hughes were seen leaving a Bardstown Road business earlier that day, and surveillance footage was used to identify him.
