Overview

• Officers were dispatched around 10:52 p.m. Wednesday to the 900 block of North 9th Street on a report of a shooting.
• Responders found Dynasty Battle, 18, of Attica, inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound and pronounced her dead at the scene.
• Investigators say Fultz allegedly shot Battle, and a small-caliber pistol was recovered from the apartment.
• Fultz, 20, was arrested and booked on involuntary manslaughter, reckless homicide, criminal recklessness and pointing a firearm.
• Police interviewed witnesses, report no outstanding suspects or ongoing threat to the community, and say the investigation remains active.
