Police Assist Fire Crews Near Magic Kingdom as Disney World Logs String of Safety Calls

  • At about 11:14 a.m. on Nov. 26, police were dispatched to assist the Reedy Creek Fire Department, now under the CFTOD, in the Magic Kingdom–Contemporary Resort corridor.
  • Between the night of Nov. 24 and late morning Nov. 25, law enforcement responded to five separate battery calls in the same area, with one call later reclassified as a verbal fight.
  • Three of the battery calls were logged within roughly 15 minutes starting at 8:57 p.m. on Nov. 24, and a fifth was recorded at 11:43 a.m. on Nov. 25.
  • A vehicle crash with injuries was reported near Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Osceola Parkway and World Drive around 4:33 p.m. on Nov. 25, causing traffic slowdowns.
