Police Arrest Graffiti Vandals in Separate Incidents at Berlin-Area Train Stations

Two groups of suspected graffiti artists were caught in the act by police, leading to multiple arrests and ongoing investigations into property damage.

  • Three teenagers were arrested at the Tempelhof S-Bahn station in Berlin after being caught vandalizing a parked train by undercover officers.
  • The suspects, aged 15, 17, and 18, attempted to flee in different directions but were apprehended with the help of additional police units.
  • In a separate incident, two men, aged 21 and 27, were detained at the Bad Freienwalde station for spray-painting a 20-square-meter section of a railway operations building.
  • Both groups of suspects were found in possession of spray cans and other graffiti-related tools, which were confiscated as evidence.
  • Authorities have launched investigations into property damage in both cases, noting that several of the individuals involved were already known to police for prior graffiti offenses.
