Police Appeal for Three Witnesses After Teenage Girl Raped in Reading

Detectives are asking three people who aided the victim to contact them during ongoing house-to-house and CCTV enquiries.

  • The incident occurred shortly after 10pm on Saturday, November 15, after the girl was approached on Oxford Road near Beresford Road.
  • Police say the two men walked with her to Prince of Wales Avenue, between Elm Park Road and Albany Road, where the attack took place.
  • Two males, possibly in their teens, reportedly intervened and had an altercation with the offenders at about 10.25pm.
  • Shortly afterward, the victim reached Elm Park Road, where a black woman provided assistance and is sought as a witness.
  • Thames Valley Police released descriptions of the suspects as white, bald, slim, and clean shaven, and urged anyone with information to contact 101 or the force website quoting reference 43250584676.
