Police Appeal for Good Samaritans After Teenage Girl Raped in Reading

Officers are conducting house-to-house and CCTV enquiries as they seek crucial witness accounts.

  • Thames Valley Police say the victim was approached just after 10pm on Saturday on Oxford Road near Beresford Road.
  • She and two men walked to Prince of Wales Avenue between Elm Park Road and Albany Road, where the assault occurred.
  • Both alleged offenders are described as white, bald, of slim build, and clean shaven.
  • Two males, possibly in their teens, intervened and had an altercation with the offenders around 10.25pm, and a black woman later helped the victim on Elm Park Road.
