Poland Confirms Netanyahu Faces Arrest If He Attends Auschwitz Memorial

Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister stated the country would enforce the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu if he enters Polish territory.

Netanyahu has rejected the ICC's authority, calling the charges biased and politically motivated, as Israel is not a party to the Rome Statute that governs the ICC.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar will represent Israel at the Auschwitz memorial, while President Herzog's attendance remains uncertain.
Poland's adherence to ICC rulings is partly motivated by its support for prosecuting Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes in Ukraine.
